We are currently in the final stages of finishing off our chapter 1 book for Sea3on. I imagine we will be sending everything off to the printer within a few weeks.
So what does this mean? Well first off, we can not sell Sea3on. Obvious copywrite reasons and so on. However, as a gift to you all for being with us we decided to still do a printing. By the looks of things we will be printing off 10 copies of chapter 1. Now, 4 of those copies are going to myself, John, Gojira, and Salamander. That leaves 6 copies that are up for grabs.
Because we are going to give away 6 copies of Chapter 1, we decided the best way to do this is with contests. Now before you go "well crap its going to be a contest I can't do", you are wrong. The contests we are planning are as simple as stuff like everyone posts in a topic, a random number generator on the net will pick a number, the person with that number of post on the topic gets a comic. Stuff like that. So easy stuff you can all be involved in.
"When will all of this take place!??"
Well, no date yet. We should have the stuff we need pieced together within a week or two. From there it can take up to a month at the printer.. Then shipping as we are doing everything out of Australia (The business is based down there so its a lot easier to do it like that).
"Why only 10 copies? Why not more?"
Well, this is all coming out of our pocket. As we cannot sell anything this is gift from us to you. 10 copies alone is fairly expensive as its not a bulk order.
All in all, I hope to see some excitement around here when we get the 6 contests under way.
So remember to keep reading Sea3on. If this print goes good and we get some excitement over it, you can see us printing off each chapter.
Thank you for sticking with us and supporting FUS, Sea3on, myself, and John through all of our work here. Thanks,
Paul.

Cool idea. Yeah, it's impossible to distribute them without having Sega knocking at your door. Thanks for putting this together.

I had this idea how we could sell them, actually. When SEGA comes knocking with the lawyers, we tell them everything was Gojira's idea.

Couldn't you make it a downloadable zip (zip or CBZ) or PDF file?

QUOTE (PSI Hedgehog @ Aug 4 2010, 02:51 PM) Couldn't you make it a downloadable zip (zip or CBZ) or PDF file? We could but why? You either read it on line, or you are lucky enough to get the awesome collectors print of it. If you wish to read the copies off line.. You can save them to your computer.

Or get something like the firefox extension "Read It Later", which perty much just saves the pages in memory for offline reading.

Depending on what kind of paper and size your getting that stuff printed on, I could probably do it fairly cheap. I have access to the canon equivalent of a professional grade xerox. In other words for the cost of ink and paper I can print full page double sided color prints. Just thrown' it out there.

No thanks, mate. We're actually going the full comic publishing thing here, complete with hard covers and such.

It would be EPIC if I could win one of these prints! However, i've also been saving them to the memory of my busted computer.
