Sonic Beyond: JealousySonic Beyond

Jealousy

by Sonique

The sound of cooing woke Alison up from her sleep. She sat up and look at her

window sill where she saw a small dove cooing at her. "Huh?" She sat up, slid

out of bed and stumbled to the window.

"Coo! Coo!" Went the dove as if trying to tell her something.

"Where did you come from?"

She held out her hand to the dove and to her surprise, the dove leaped into her

hand and cooed.

Alison chuckled, "Well, where did you come from?" She asked in a baby voice.

"That's a messenger dove." Sally came from around the corner. "Come here little

dove." She held her hand out to the dove, and in a graceful motion the dove

flapped it's wings and landed on Sally's arm. A small folded paper had been

attached to the dove's foot, and Sally removed it then let the dove fly off

toward the sky.

"Messenger dove?" Alison asked.

"Yes." Sally replied while reading the message.

"Wow, the technology these days." Alison remarked sarcastically.

"Hmm." Sally faced Alison, "Would you like to help us on a mission in

Robotropolis?"

Alison shrugged, "Sure."

"Okay, meet us by the Power Ring pool no later than in half an hour."

"Okay." Alison waited for Sally to leave, then got ready to go.

About half an hour later, Sonic and Sally waited for Alison by the Power Ring

poll. Sonic impatiently paced back and forth, "Where is she, Sal?"

"I told her to be here in twenty minutes."

Sonic began to tap his foot on the ground, "I'm waiting." He said in an annoyed

voice.

Finally, Alison jogged up to the Power Ring pool, "Hi guys."

"You're late." Sally scolded.

Alison looked at her watch, "I still have three minutes."

"You're seven minutes late."

"You said meet here in half an hour!"

"I said twenty minutes."

"You did not you liar!"

"Can we talk about this later?" Sonic asked impatiently.

Sally ignored him, "Alison, when we go on these missions, it's very important

that we that we meet at places at the right time.."

"Well, then maybe you should give me the right time to meet at." Alison replied

in a snobby voice.

"Come on, Sal." Sonic said with enthusiasm. "Let's go."

"But we..."

Sonic cut Sally off this time, "Save it, Sal." He took Alison's left arm and

Sally's right arm, "Cause it's juice time!" Like a rocket, Sonic blasted off at

full speed taking the girls with him.

Sonic, Sally and Alison stood on a balcony attached to a dark building in the

bowls of gloomy Robotropolis.

Sally read the message they'd received earlier, "Hmm.. it says Robotnik has a

plan to uncover Knothole's location, but Uncle Chuck doesn't know what the plan

is yet."

"Unc'll figure it out." Sonic replied.

"Who's Uncle Chuck?" Alison asked.

Sonic answered, "He's my uncle. He was captured and roboticised but gained his

free will back. He makes the perfect spy."

"Cool! Can I meet him?"

"Sure, I'll take you there later on."

Sally interrupted them, "But now we have to find out more about this plan of

Robotnik's."

"It's cool, Sal. I'm sure Unc'll crack the code on this case."

"Then why are we here?" Alison said in an annoyed voice.

Sally turned to Sonic, "Sonic, Uncle Chuck can't do everything."

"But, Sal..."

Alison decided to stay out of their argument and stared off into the distance.

She began to daydream about the days when Snively and she lived together. They

may have driven each other crazy, but she really missed him. She missed the way

he'd talk to her in that rich, snobby voice of his, the way he'd scowl when

she'd call him 'Light-Bulb Head' or 'Nose-Boy,' the way his snoring lured her to

sleep, the way he'd smell of elegant cologne, and so much more. She wondered

when she'd see him again. Then, as if answering her prayers, Snively jogged

around the corner of a building and headed into an alley. Alison became so

excited to see him again, she yelled, "Snively!"

Sonic and Sally both turned to her in confusion.

"I.. mean... I..."

Sonic looked to where Alison had been staring and saw Snively running down a

street, "She's right!" Sonic pointed to him, "Maybe he can tell us about

Ro-butt-nik's plan! Juice and jam time!" Sonic leaped off the balcony and

smoothly ran down the side of the building and into the streets following

Snively's path.

"Cool!" Alison exclaimed. With grace, Alison leaped off the balcony to the

ground and pursued Sonic.

Snively turned to the sound of rapid footsteps behind him, "ARUGH!" He began to

run as fast as he could but Sonic and Alison easily caught up with him. Sonic

came from behind him and grabbed his arms so he could escape, and Alison stood

in front of him with a sinister expression.

"What do you want?!" Snively demanded.

Before either of them could speak, Sally called them from the balcony, "You

guys, wait!" She ran down the balcony stairs.

"Should we wait?" Alison asked.

"We'd better." After a short while, Sonic began to impatiently tap his foot,

"I'm waiting."

Finally Sally jogged over to them, "All right."

"'Bout time, Sal." Sonic teased.

Alison turned to Snively again and smiled, "Okay, Snively.."

Sally interrupted her, "If we're going to do this, we have to do it right." She

walked over to Alison and whispered, "We can't just smile at him, he won't take

us seriously." She gently shoved Alison aside, "Okay, Snively, we're not going

to hurt you.."

This time, Alison interrupted her, "Whoa! Whoa! Hey!"

"What now?" Sally asked with a pestered voice.

"'We're not going to hurt you.'?"

"Well we..."

Alison walked over and shoved her away, "Let me do it." She took out her gun and

pointed it to Snively, "Look, Nose-Boy, we know about Robotnik's plan to find

Knothole and you'd better tell us where it is or you'll be waking up with a body

cast on for the next few weeks!"

Sonic chuckled, "Past cool, Al."

"Oooh, I'm so scared." Snively sarcastically remarked.

Alison pointed the gun directly at Snively's chest even though she knew she'd

never hurt him like that, "Gee, wouldn't it be a shame if my finger accidentally

slipped?"

"You can do what you like." Snively replied in a stern tone, "You can threaten

me, point your little toy at me, you can strip for me and I won't talk!"

"Strip for you?" Alison felt offended by his remark but instead acted angry,

"I'm really getting sick of your sexist remarks, Nose-Boy!"

"That's why some of us remain nude." Sonic smiled proudly.

BEEEEOOOO! BEEEEEEOOOOOO!

"SWaTBots!" Sonic exclaimed.

A squadron of five SWaTBots in red hover crafts appeared from around the corner

and charged toward the Freedom Fighters blaring their sirens. Once they locked

the Freedom Fighters on target, they fired a few red hot laser beams at their

feet. The three Freedom Fighters jumped backwards to avoid the lasers.

"Damn SWaT-Heads!" Alison aimed her weapon at one of the hover units and shot a

few lasers herself. One of the beams she'd shot hit a SWaTBot right in the chest

causing it to loose control of its craft and plummet to the harsh ground. It

landed with a loud clank and began to short circuit emitting sparks in every

direction.

"Nice shot!" Sonic remarked.

"Thanks." Alison replied. She looked into the distance where she saw more

SWaTBots coming from them. "Uh oh."

Sonic handed Snively to Alison, "Here, you take Snittly, I'll lead the bots away

from here."

"Okay." Alison seized Snively's arm. "You aren't going anywhere." She said to

him in an evil tone even though she was really thinking, "Oh, wow, I'm actually

touching him!"

"Be careful, Sonic." Sally said to him before he took off.

"No prob, Sal." He dashed away and stopped right in front of the bots, "Yo,

SWaT-Butts! Looking for me?"

"Hedgehog alert! Hedgehog alert!" The Bots yelled at once.

Sonic dashed underneath the bots and around a corner. The bots did a simple

U-turn pursuing Sonic, blaring their sirens, and screaming things like,

"Hedgehog priority one!"

Alison and Sally waited for a while after Sonic had left to make sure no more

bots were coming. When they knew it was clear, Sally spoke, "Okay, now we..."

"OW!"

Sally gasped and turned to Alison and saw Snively biting down hard on Alison's

arm. "Snively!" Sally exclaimed.

Alison tried to hold her grip on his arm, but his bite felt like a sharp knife

sinking deeper into her skin, so let go of Snively's arm and pushed him away

from her. Snively glared at Alison for a second then cowardly ran away in the

same direction Sonic had.

"Ow." Alison held her arm where she'd been bit then scowled at Snively, "Yeah!

You'd better run!" She yelled. "You little puke-haired spit-wad!"

"Oh no. He's getting away." Sally remarked.

"Well, go get him!" Alison lifted up her sleeve to look where Snively had bit

her. A small amount of blood tricked out from the teeth marks. "Man! What does

he do? Sharpen his teeth in the morning?"

"He's too far ahead now." Sally sighed. "Let's go find Sonic."

"Oh, so he's not too far ahead but Snively is?"

"Alison, now is not the time to be like this. We should split up and meet back

here in ten minutes."

Alison still felt mad about what happened before,

"Wait.. is that your ten minutes or my ten minutes?"

Sally glared at her, "Alison, now is not the time to argue about what happened

before. We have to find Sonic before Robotnik finds us."

"Hey, Sal!" From behind the two girls, Sonic jogged up to them. "Snively got

away."

"He bit Alison in the arm and she let go." Sally explained.

"Hey!" Alison yelled. "Don't make it sound like it was my fault! I didn't see

you doing anything to help!"

Sally's face turned angry, "I wasn't blaming anyone!"

Sonic came to Alison's defense, "It sounded like a blame to me, Sal."

"Sonic.." Sally began.

Alison remarked to Sally, "If it's anyone's fault, it's yours for taking too

long to get down here!"

"But I.."

Sonic shrugged his shoulders, "You gotta admit, Sal, she's right."

Shocked by his remark Sally yelled, "Sonic this was not my fault, and if you two

hadn't rushed off without me, we would have been fine!"

"Pfff, yeah right." Alison muttered.

Sally sighed, "Fine, but now we have to get back to Knothole."

"But, Sal, we don't know ol' Butt-Nik's plan to find Knothole yet."

Sally sarcastically replied to Sonic, "I thought Uncle Chuck would figure it

out."

Not knowing she was using sarcasm, Sonic said, "But you said before he can't do

everything."

Alison agreed, "Yeah, make up your mind."

Sally through her hands up in failure and let out a frustrated cry. Without

saying another word, she turned and stormed away from Alison and the befuddled

hedgehog.

"What's her problem?" Alison asked Sonic.

Sonic shrugged his shoulders in response.

"What'd y'all find out, Sally-girl?" Bunnie asked Sally upon her return to

Knothole.

Sally sighed, "Well, we couldn't find anything."

Rotor came up to Sally and noticed Sonic and Alison weren't with her. "Where's

Alison and Sonic?"

Trying not to show her anger, she stuttered through an answer, "They're

coming... they stayed behind... for some things... I guess."

"You okay, Sally-girl?"

Sally nodded, "I'm fine, just tired." She paused for a moment, "I'd like to be

alone now, if you don't mind."

"Sure thing." Bunnie replied.

Sally walked past the two of them and toward the huts with her head down in deep

thought.

Bunnie and Rotor both turned to the sound of someone coming through the sliding

tree. Together, Sonic and Alison flew out the tree hole and landed in the hay

pile.

Rotor eagerly jogged up to greet Alison, "Hey, Alison. Did you guys find

anything?"

Alison slid down the pile of hay, "Not really." She felt a tingle in her arm

where she'd been bit, "Just found out Snively's a stupid little puss-sucker!"

"We all ready knew that, Al." Sonic slid down the pile and landed beside Alison.

"Didj'all notice some'tin about Sally?" Bunnie asked them. "She seems upset."

Sonic shrugged, "Must be tired."

"Maybe y'all should have a talk with her, Sugah-hog."

Sonic smiled and shook his head, "Can't now Bunnie. I'm gonna give Al here a

real treat." He put his arm around Alison in a buddy motion. "I'm making her one

of my ol' chili dogs."

Bunnie had never seen Sonic turn down the chance to talk to Sally before. Her

face turned to slight shock, "Uh.. okay, sugah.. whateva ya say."

Snively slowly and quietly entered Robotnik's main control room hoping not to be

noticed. He tiptoed to the center of the room.

"SNIVELY!"

"AHHUGH!" Snively jumped into the air and, once he landed, quickly turned around

to face Robotnik. "Sir?"

"What was the hedgehog doing here, Snively?"

"Well... Sir.. he... you see.. he some how found out you were trying to find

Knothole and..."

"WHAT?! How could he have known!?" Robotnik bellowed while throwing his fists

into the air.

Snively gasped and ducked in response, but picked his head up once he realized

Robotnik wasn't going to hit him, "I really don't know, Sir."

"Was anyone else with him?"

"Yes, he was with the Princess and.." his hate for Alison caused him to shutter

as he thought of her, "..that miserable Alison slut." He muttered.

Robotnik's eyes widened, "Alison is with the Freedom Fighters now?"

Snively nodded and sighed, "I'm afraid so, Sir."

Robotnik growled, "I took care of that girl! I gave her everything she needed,

and this is the thanks I get?!" He pointed to Snively, "If she returns, I want

her captured and brought to me. Do you understand, Snively?"

"Yes, Sir." Snively whimpered.

Sally and Bunnie sat side by side by the Power Ring pool; Sally held her head up

with her hands, and she had just finished telling Bunnie about what happened

earlier.

"Y'know, Sally-girl, if Ali hurt your feelin's you should tell 'er. No sayin'

what people were lahk where she came from. She probably didn't even notice."

Bunnie said.

"I know, Bunnie, but Sonic completely took her side as if the whole thing was my

fault." She sighed.

"Now, Sally-girl, you know that Sugah-hog doesn't always have his head in the

raht place. He was probably just in a bad mood or sometin'."

Sally lifted her head up, "Maybe you're right, Bunnie, but I..."

All of a sudden, Alison darted at full speed past the two girls causing them to

shriek in surprise. With no response, Alison dove for the pool's shore and stuck

her head into the water. Bunnie and Sally stared at her in confusion then turned

to the sound of Sonic running toward them. Sonic stopped once he reached the

girls; he carried an empty can of chili and wore a chef's hat. When he noticed

Alison with her head in the water he remarked, "Hmm.. maybe I should've gone a

bit lighter on the chili powder."

Alison lifted her head out of the water and panted for a second. She stood up

and brushed her hair over her shoulder. "Wow! That was really hot." She replied

to Sonic; then she smiled and asked, "Can I have another one?"

Sonic shrugged, "Sure! No prob."

Sally stood up, "You know, Sonic, about earlier..."

Sonic cut her off, "Save it, Sal. The hedgehog is hun-gry."

Alison walked up to Sonic and the two walked side by side away from the pool.

Alison declared to Sonic, "You look pretty cute in that chef hat."

"I know, I know." Sonic replied.

Sally grew mad at Alison for saying that to her boyfriend; she kicked some dirt

anger and clenched her fists. "How dare she say that to Sonic!"

"What's up, Sally-girl?"

Sally pointed to Alison in the distance, "Did you hear what she just said?"

"Ah'm sure she meant nothin' by it."

"You don't think, she's trying to steal Sonic from me, do you?"

"It just doesn't seem raht. Ah mean Alison doesn't seem lahk someone who'd go

stealing someone's boyfriend."

"I'm gonna follow them."

"Now hold on, Sally-girl, there's no reason to spah on them."

"I'm not gonna spy, I'm just gonna.. uh.. follow them a bit." She began

following Sonic and Alison's trail.

Sonic and Alison entered into Alison's hut ready to rest from their walk. They

didn't know Sally had followed them there and planned to do some spying; she

knelt down by one of the windows keeping low so she wouldn't be seen.

"I like what you did with the place." Sonic said as he walked further into

Alison's hut.

"Thanks." She sat down on her bed. Trying to make conversation, she said "So you

and Sally been together a while now?"

Sally gasped and sunk even lower below the window.

"Sal and me have been friends as far back as I can remember. I guess we've

always been kind of been... boyfriend-girlfriend."

Alison smiled, "That's so sweet."

Sonic picked up a small book on one of Alison's dressers, "What's this?" He

opened it to a random page and began reading out loud, "S is for the snooty way

you.."

"NOO!" In panic, Alison quickly jumped up from her bed and dove for the book.

She snatched the book from his hands and closed it.

Sonic looked at her in confusion, "What is it?"

Alison panted for a second; of course she couldn't say the book contained her

poetry inspired by Snively. "It's... a book I'm writing. But it's not done yet."

She put it back on her dresser. "I don't like people to read my stuff unless

it's done."

Sally thought for a moment, "Could that book have poetry about Sonic? Sonic

isn't really snooty, but who else could it be?"

"Okay," said Sonic, "lemme know when you're done."

"So, what do you want to do now?"

"Why don't we go visit my Uncle Chuck?" Sonic replied.

"Okay, sounds like a plan."

"Let's juice."

Sonic and Alison walked out of Alison's hut and into the daylight. Alison saw

something move out of the corner of her eye, near her window, and turned to see

what it was, "Sally?"

Sally was in the process of getting up from the ground when Alison saw her,

"Uh-oh." She said to herself.

"What's up, Sal?" Sonic asked.

"I... uh... dropped something." Sally replied innocently.

"Need help?" asked Alison.

"No... it's no big deal." She stood up and brushed herself off.

"Wanna come with us, Sal?"

"No thanks, Sonic, I don't feel like going to Robotropolis."

"Okay, we'll catch ya later."

Alison hopped onto Sonic's back and held on tight.

"We're outta here!" With those words, Sonic dashed off into the distance leaving

Sally.

"I have to get to Robotropolis." Sally thought after they had left.

Sonic stopped right in front of the giant, stinking, junk heap in Robotropolis.

Each pile of rotting trash towered about seven feet tall, and all together they

made up about six square miles of Robotropolis.

"Almost there." Sonic remarked.

"He lives in the junk heap?" Alison asked in a disgusted tone.

"It's a nice hide out for him."

"I see..."

Sonic took off again towards the center of the junk heap. As they approached one

of the piles, the front of it moved upward, like a garage door, revealing an

entrance to a room inside the pile. Sonic ran inside and the door shut behind

him.

"This is the place." Sonic said as they entered.

"Weird." Alison got off Sonic's back and looked around. Machines and computers

lined the walls of the round room with buttons and levers of all sorts. A small

light hanging from the ceiling lit the room well.

Sonic looked around but saw no one in the room, "Uncle Chuck?!" He called. "Yo,

Unc?!"

"No one's home, I guess." Alison remarked.

Suddenly, a hand viciously grabbed Sonic and Alison from behind.

"AUGH!" They whipped around and to their relief, saw Uncle Chuck behind them.

Uncle Chuck looked a lot like Sonic, only he was a darker shade of blue, had

metallic features, a white mustache and eyebrows. Since Robotnik roboticised

him, his eyes were black and glowed an evil red color.

Sonic relaxed a bit, "Good one Uncle Chuck."

Uncle Chuck reached his hands out for Sonic, "Hedgehog, priority one! Detain by

order of Robotnik." He slowly stepped toward Sonic.

"Uncle Chuck! Chill!" Sonic backed away from his possessed uncle.

Alison reached for her gun, pulled it out and in a quick motion, aimed at Uncle

Chuck. "Back off!"

"NO!" Sonic yelled at her. "He's my Uncle. Don't hurt him."

Uncle Chuck grabbed the two of them by their shoulders, "Good to see you guys

again." His eyes stopped glowing.

"You okay?" Alison asked him.

"I'm fine, I just thought you guys could use a little scare."

"Why?" Again Alison asked.

Uncle Chuck chuckled in response.

Sonic remarked, "You can tell he's my uncle."

Uncle Chuck pointed to Alison, "And I can see you're no longer with Robotnik."

Alison nodded, "Right. No way am I going back. Not even for Sniv..." She quickly

caught herself, "..I mean not even for SIL-ver... yeah or, uh... gold... or

anything. Nothing can make me go back."

"Well, welcome aboard, Freedom Fighter." Uncle Chuck patted her on her shoulder.

"Hey, do you know any echidna's around here?" Alison blurted out completely

changing the subject.

"Hmmm..." Uncle Chuck thought for a moment, "There are probably some around that

are roboticised."

"Do they stay in a special room or anything?"

"No, worker-bots tend to just work all the time. They don't usually get a

break."

"But I need to find two of the echidnas and I know one of them is a worker-bot."

"I'll keep my eyes peeled for any echidnas."

Sonic then asked Uncle Chuck some questions of his own, "Any more on

Ro-butt-nik's plan to find Knothole?"

Uncle Chuck shook his head, "Sorry, but I don't think you have to worry. I would

have heard about any breaking news by now."

"Cool."

"But I need to get to my job before I'm missed."

Alison sighed, "But we just met."

"Don't worry. I'm sure we'll meet again. You can come visit me any time and I'll

look around for your echidna friends."

Alison nodded, "Okay, take care of yourself."

"Later Unc." Sonic took Alison and darted out the trash pile.

"Hey, Sonic stop for a second." Alison ordered calmly.

Sonic immediately came to a halt upon her request, "What's wrong?"

"This just hit me, how did Sally know we were going to visit Robotropolis

before?"

Sonic thought for a moment, "Hmm... I don't know."

"And why was she kneeling down on the floor when I saw her?"

"What are you saying?"

"Do you think maybe she was spying on us?"

"Why would she do that?"

While the two of them spoke to each other, Sally quietly searched her way

through the junk piles. "Ah-ha!" She finally found Alison and Sonic a few feet

ahead of her. She knelt down behind a junk pile so she couldn't be seen, but she

was too far behind them to hear what they spoke of.

"Princess Sally."

Sally gasped and alarmingly turned to face Snively.

"Why would you spy on the hedgehog?" He asked her in his usual snobby voice.

Sally glared at him, "I'm not spying. I'm just... watching them."

"Theme!?"

"No, no." Sally said. "That's a typo, it should say 'them' not 'theme'."

"Oh." Snively remarked. "Them?!" He looked over to where Sally had been looking

and saw Alison talking with Sonic. "Ohhhh... how I hate that girl." He muttered

grimly. He noticed how comfortable both Sonic and Alison seemed to be with one

another, then he figured out why Sally had been spying. "So," he turned to

Sally, "Alison's trying to steal your guy?"

"What?!" Sally shrieked. "That's absurd! She would never do that."

"Oh, come on, Sally, just look at the two of them. I can see how badly she wants

him." He smiled sinisterly, "And if you want, I could help you dispose of her."

Now Sally had become angry with Snively. Just the thought of him thinking Sally

would do such a thing to a Freedom Fighter seemed crazy. "Snively! There is no

way I would ever betray a fellow Freedom Fighter."

Alison replied to Sonic, "I dunno, Sonic, she was really mad at me yesterday. I

think she's jealous."

"Jealous of my good looks?" Sonic asked proudly.

"No, Sonic, of us being together all the time."

"So, you think Sal is spying on us because she thinks you're trying to steal me

from her?"

Alison nodded in response.

"Nah, Sal's too mature for that."

Alison looked over to her left and couldn't believe her eyes. Sally stood off in

the distance and had been watching them. "Oh, no? Look." She pointed over to

where Sally stood.

"Huh? No way!" Sonic felt betrayal inside. How could his own girlfriend not

trust him? "I don't believe it. Why would Sal... how can she... what is..."

"Like I told you, she's jealous."

Sonic folded his arms across his chest, "Well she's got nothing to be jealous

of." He smiled deviously for a second.

"What?"

"I'll give her something to be jealous of." Without saying another word, Sonic

took Alison by the waist and kissed her lips.

Snively and Sally had been too busy arguing that they didn't even notice at

first, but then Snively looked over and exclaimed, "See? I told you!"

Sally looked over expecting to see nothing, but nothing could have prepared her

to see Alison kissing Sonic. Her jaw almost dropped to the floor as she saw her

boyfriend holding another female in his arms and kissing her ever so tenderly.

Sonic let go of Alison and she backed away from him, "What was that?" She

demanded.

"That outta teach Sal a lesson."

Alison smiled because she understood now, "Ooohhh, good one." Together, the two

of them walked away from the junk piles and out of Sally's sight.

"Ohh, I knew it! I knew it!" Sally kicked the ground in rage. "How can she do

that to me?"

"Y'know," Snively declared, "my offer is still up for grabs."

Sally wanted revenge more than anything at the moment. She didn't even know what

she was thinking when she turned to Snively and replied, "It's a deal!"

Alison peered about. She had separated from Sonic, because she hoped she might

catch a glimpse of the echidnas Wendy or Sorceress. She slowly made her way

towards Robotnik's; after all, that happened to be the last place she had seen

Wendy. As she walked along, she suddenly saw Snively, and she froze. Her heart

pounded inside her. She stood there staring at him with googely love-filled

eyes. She stifled the impulse to shout out his name and confess her true

feelings for him.

"Alison!"

At the sound of her name, Alison startled and turned to face who had called her.

"Uh-oh, it's Sally." She thought to herself. She tried to play it cool anyway,

"Oh, hi, Sally. What's up?"

In her hand, Sally held a small quarter shaped tracking device Snively had given

her. She hesitated to put it on a loyal Freedom Fighter, but she did have a

plan. She would let the SWaTBots capture Alison, but before they brought her to

Robotnik she would jump out at them and distract them long enough to grab Alison

and run. Once her plan had worked, Sonic would surly be impressed and take her

back again. She fingered the device nervously. "Hey, Alison. Need help getting

back to Knothole?"

"Uhh..." Alison backed away, "..no, I'm okay. I was just looking for the

Sorceress."

Sally came up to Alison and put her arm around her in a buddy manner, "Did you

ask Uncle Chuck?" Then, after many doubts went through her head, she stuck the

small device on Alison's shoulder, and pressed a button on it which activated

the tracker.

Alison nodded not knowing what Sally had just done, "Yeah, he said he'd keep his

eyes peeled."

"Well, great, but I need to be getting back to Knothole now." She took her hand

off Alison and began to walk away, "See ya, Alison." She called innocently, then

quickly walked around a corner. "Phew." She took out the small communicator,

which Snively had also given to her. "Snively." She spoke into it. "Snively?"

After some static, Snively responded, "Is the tracker in place?"

"It's all taken care of. It's all up to you now."

"Yes... thank you, Princess, you won't regret this."

Sally turned her communicator off and put it on the ground. "It's up to you now,

Sally-girl." She said to herself and with those words, headed for the main

entrance to Robotropolis to carry out her plan.

Alison ducked behind a small pile of trash closer to Snively. She had heard part

of the conversation he had just held and couldn't believe her ears. "Princess??"

She whispered aloud to herself. "Who is he calling Princess?" She didn't think

for one minute that he had spoken to Princess Sally, but instead thought he

spoke to a girlfriend of his. She angrily and jealously stormed over to him,

"Hey!" She yelled.

Snively gasped and turned to her.

"Who's this Princess you're talking to? What's her deal?" She put her hand on

her waist and stared at him as if demanding an answer.

"Uh... no one... it's not your business anyway."

"What does she see in you?? I feel sorry for her having a boyfriend with a

lightbulb for a head."

Snively angrily shook for a second then replied calmly, "I feel sorry for

whoever you end up with because he'll probably have a larger bust than you."

Alison gasped in rage at his horrible remark. "Hey... you... I..." She felt so

shocked she couldn't even speak, but she stopped when she heard sirens behind

her. She knew immediately SWaTBots had spotted her, but when she turned to look,

she couldn't see them. "Where are they?"

Snively violently grabbed Alison by her upper arms and held her tight, but in

response, Alison struggled to get free. "Let me go!" She ordered.

"Not this time, you won't escape!"

Alison continued to squirm til finally, she pounded her foot on top of his.

"OW!" Snively let go of her and bent forward to soothe his injured foot. "Stupid

flat chested piece of..." He grumbled.

Alison began to run forward but then saw the SWaTBots approaching swiftly on air

and foot. "I'm not giving up that easily." She reached for her gun, then gasped.

It was no longer in her holster! She frantically searched her belt but to no

avail.

A SWaTBot came right up to her, "Surrender Freedom Fighter." He ordered.

Alison sighed in despair; SWaTBots surrounded her from every direction and she

couldn't escape. Even jumping would be risky; she had no choice but to do as she

was told. She held her hands up in the air and surrendered to them.

Sally positioned herself behind a wall near Robotnik's main base ready to carry

out the last part of her plan. She peered out, looking for the SWaTBots and the

captive Alison. "Where are they?" She asked herself growing slightly impatient

and worried.

Finally after what seemed like too long, she saw two SWaTBots approaching the

building and carrying Alison as she struggled to free herself. She stood up and

was about to run out and distract them, but she froze. "Oh my God." About ten

more SWaTBots on foot, six on hover units and Snively followed the two in front.

"Oh no!" She had no idea so many SWaTBots would be there. She figured two or

three, but no more than four. She shook her head and frantically tried to think

of an idea to save her. Finally, she came to a conclusion, "I have to get

Sonic." Without hesitation, she sped back to Knothole at full speed not looking

back or worrying if she'd be spotted.

The SWaTBots brought Alison into his chamber. Alison continued to struggle

despite the fact she knew it'd do no good. Robotnik had his chair facing

backwards because he didn't know Alison had been captured. The SWaTBots stopped

a few feet in front of Robotnik's chair and Snively came forward to brag, "We

caught her, Sir."

"Caught who, Snively?"

Alison spoke up angrily, "Me you fat piece of shit!"

Immediately, Robotnik turned his chair around to face Alison. He glared down

upon her and she exchanged his glance.

Sally ran out of the city as fast as her two feet could carry her. Her feet

pounded on the pavement in a fast rhythmic beat. She paid no attention to what

dangers may be approaching behind or aside her; she only focused on the street

which seemed to only get longer as she ran ahead. As she reached the end of the

city, she realized she had been holding her breath for the long time she'd been

running; she quickly exhaled and took another gaping breath in.

Robotnik stormed up to Alison in his usual angry manner, "You dare swear at me?"

She glared up at him, "I'll swear at whoever I want."

"My, my. Such a harsh tone for a young lady." He responded.

"You think I got this far in my life being nice and dainty?"

Snively leaned up against the wall, "Not a chance."

Both Robotnik and Alison turned to Snively, "Shut UP!" They yelled

simultaneously.

After what seemed like ages, Sally finally reached the great forest. She had

been running full speed the whole time, but ignored the pains she felt in her

side and stomach. The jealously inside her had completely vanished, and had been

replaced with a feeling of guilt and shamefulness. "How could I have sent a

Freedom Fighter to what could be her doom? Who cares if Sonic likes her? How

could I have done that?" She asked herself over and over again. She couldn't

understand what she had been thinking before, but knew she had to someone make

everything better. She needed Sonic to save Alison before Robotnik finished her.

Two SWaTBots let Alison to a cage in the prisoner dungeon. Alison stepped inside

and heard the cell door slam shut behind her. At first she just stared ahead

wondering how she'd escape, but then she heard Robotnik speak in a low tone,

"You will tell me where Knothole is, my dear."

Alison turned and glared at him, "I'd never tell you anything of the sort, no

matter what you do to me."

Robotnik growled and replied, "You should not have said that." He turned to his

SWaTBots, "Stay here and guard the cell. Don't let anyone or anything in or

out." Before he left he turned back to Alison again, "I'll be back for you."

With those words, he left the area leaving Alison alone with the SWaTBots.

Alison knew she wouldn't be going anywhere too soon, so she decided to sit on

the small bench and rest up until she could think of a way out. As she leaned

her back against the wall, she felt something small poke her in the shoulder.

She reached behind her and felt the tracker device on her shoulder and pulled it

off. For a short second she stared at it trying to figure out what it was and

once she figured that out, how it got there. Then remembered Sally had touched

her shoulder soon after Sonic had kissed her. "Sally." She sighed.

Sally shot out the sliding tree and into the hay pile. Immediately after she

landed, she slid down the pile and began running toward the village, but stopped

when she saw Bunnie approaching her.

"Sally-girl, y'all look like ya've seen a ghost. What the ho-ha happened?"

Though winded, Sally managed to choke out, "Al.. *pant* Alison was captured."

Bunnie's eyes widened, "Oh mah stars! We gotta get her!"

"I know." Sally leaned forward trying to catch her breath. "I... I need to find

Sonic."

"Last tahm I saw Sugah-hog he was with Tails bah the powah ring pool!"

Sally stood up straight, "Okay." She was about to run again but Bunnie stopped

her.

"I'll get 'em Sally-girl, y'all look a bit winded."

"Thanks Bunnie."

Bunnie smiled for a second then rushed off in the direction of the power ring

pool.

Alison sat with her head in her hands and sulked as she thought of how to

escape. Her mind raced furiously, but then stopped when she heard a familiar

voice.

"Well, well , well."

"Snively, just great." Alison mumbled to herself.

"I'd like to see you get out of this one." Snivley pulled himself up to his full

height and stood by the cell with his head held high in pride.

Alison stood up, walked to the edge of the cell and put her hands on the bars,

"I'll get outta here. You watch me."

"Okay, I'm watching now. I don't see you escaping."

Alison stuck her head through the cage and glared at him, "I didn't mean right

this second, Nose-boy. I mean one of the Freedom Fighters will... probably...

save me."

He smiled deviously remembering his deal with Sally, "You really think that?"

"Yeah!" She said in a mocking tone. "Why wouldn't they?" She attempted to pull

her head out from between the bars, but realized her head was stuck. "Hey, I'm

stuck." She tried to pull even harder but to no avail, so then she tried

something else. She twisted her head and body around and pulled, but again

nothing happened. "Help me." She said to Snively.

Instead of helping her, he burst out laughing in his historical hyena laugh.

"Shut up!" Alison yelled.

"Oh, this is very entertaining, indeed." He crossed his arms in front of his

chest and watched Alison try to squirm her way out.

Sonic and Bunnie waited by the power ring poll for a ring to surface. Sonic

paced back and forth impatiently, "Come on, I gotta juice! My main overlander's

in trouble."

"Relax, Sugah-hog, she'll be fahn."

Suddenly, Sally came running up beside them, "You guys."

"What's up, Sal?" Sonic asked.

"I want to help."

"I dunno Sally-girl, y'all look a bit tahred."

"I just feel some what responsible."

"Now, Sally-girl, y'all cain't blame yourself. These things happen."

"I know but..."

Sonic then spoke out, "Here it comes, Sal. Grab it."

As the power ring lifted its way out of the sparkling waters, Sally grabbed onto

it and stuck it in Sonic's back pack.

"Past cool, Sal!" Sonic gave her a thumbs up sign. "You guys ready to juice it

loose?"

Sally sighed and looked down in reply. She was about to speak but Sonic cut her

off.

"Sal, I'm sorry about... me and Alison. She's a special girl but you'll always

be my main. You know that right?" He put his hand on her shoulder.

Sally looked up and straight into his eyes, "You really mean that, Sonic?

"Of course, I was just getting to know her. You know I'd do anything for you no

matter what the cost and no girl could ever take you place."

Sally smiled, "Thank you, Sonic." Sally hugged Sonic tight.

"But now we gotta juice."

Sally held onto Sonic's waist from around his back, Bunnie held onto Sally in

the same manner, and Sonic took off running toward Robotropolis at full speed.

Alison laid down on her belly on the floor of her cell. Her head still hung out

of the cell bars, and she rested it on her arms. Snively stood with his back to

the wall beside the cell. He had his arms crossed in front of his chest and a

pleased smile across his lips.

Alison sighed, "Can you at least help me get my head back into the cell?" She

asked Snively.

Snively looked at her for a second, then strutted over toward her. He stood

right in front of her, drew his leg back, then violently kicked her in the head.

"Ow!" Alison screamed.

Snively then held onto the bars beside him and pushed the bottom of his foot

against her head as hard as he could.

"OW! Stop it! Stop it!" Alison reached up and grabbed his shoe and tried to push

his foot off her head.

Snively obeyed and stopped his actions. He sighed to himself, "God, that felt

good."

"Ow." Alison rubbed her head.

Suddenly, from above an air duct crate fell from the ceiling and landed with a

bang. Snively shrieked in response and looked up. "The hedgehog! Get him." He

ordered the SWaTBots.

The SWaTBots aimed their laser arms at Sonic as he leaped down to the ground

gracefully. "What's up guys?" He replied casually.

"Priority one, hedgehog!" The SWaTBots aimed their laser arms at Sonic and

fired. Sonic jumped back dodging the lasers. "I'd like to hang but I gotta

juice." He replied and with those words, he took off in the opposite directions

with the SWaTBots behind him.

Sally peaked out from out of the crate then whispered to Bunnie, "Sonic got

their attention. Now we need to quietly sneak down and..."

"Sally! Bunnie! HELP!!!" Alison called to them from below. She stood up and

waved to them as if they didn't know she was there, "Over here!"

Snively looked up at the vent and saw Sally and Bunnie, "You won't get away with

this!" He warned.

Bunnie said to Sally, "Well, so much for bein' quiet."

"Let's go." With that, Sally and Bunnie jumped down from the vent and onto the

floor.

Snively stared at Sally in shock, "Hey! We had a deal!"

Bunnie looked at Sally with a puzzle expression, "What deal?"

Instead of answering, Sally said to Snively, "Forget it, the deal's off. Now let

her go before Sonic comes back and has to deal with you."

"Oohhh, I'm so afraid." Snively replied sarcastically.

"Snively, y'all let Ali-girl outta there raht now! Open that cage!"

Snively shrugged in response, "As you wish." He calmly walked over to the

control panel, pushed some buttons, and the cell bars began to swiftly roll into

the slit in the wall beside it. Alison's head was still stuck so she walked

along with the cell expecting it to stop soon.

"Now what was this deal, Sally-girl?"

"It's nothing Bunnie..."

"Guys." Alison said.

"... I don't wanna talk about it right now."

"Guys!"

"But Sally-girl.."

"GUUUYYYS!" Alison yelled at the top of her lungs.

Sally and Bunnie finally turned and look at Alison. The cell continued to move

into the wall and since Alison's head remained stuck, the wall would surly crush

her neck bones and strangle her to death.

"Oh, mah stars! Snively, close the cell doors!" Bunnie yelled.

Snively simply leaned up against the wall and shrugged, "You said open the

doors."

"Snively, close them!" Sally screamed. "She'll be killed!"

Snively smiled, "I know."

"Do something!" Alison shouted as she became feet away from the wall.

Bunnie dashed over to Alison and grasped onto the bar next to Alison's head.

Through grunts and groans, she struggled to pull the cage backwards. "Hold on...

Ali-girl." She choked out.

Sally felt completely helpless as she sat and watched her friend grow closer to

death. What made her feel even worse was knowing she did this. She did the only

thing she could think of and ran over to Bunnie, clutched the same bar and

pulled as well. Alison's head became inches from the wall; she desperately tried

to push her head loose, but no matter how hard she pushed, it seemed to do no

good. Alison then felt the pushing against her throat and it became hard for her

to breath.

"Pull Sally-girl! Pull!" Bunnie ordered.

Both girls gave it all they had pulling with every ounce of strength in their

body, the bar emitted an ear piercing creaking noise as it began to bend

backwards. This gave Alison enough room and just the right amount of time to

quickly jerk her head out from the cell bars. She pulled so hard and fast she

fell backwards onto the ground and took in a huge breath.

Bunnie ran to her aid, "Are y'all all raht?" She held out her hand to help

Alison up.

Alison nodded, "Yeah, thanks." She stood up and looked to where Snively had been

standing, but he had fled. "Snively's gone."

"That little coward! I knew he wouldn't hang around." Sally declared.

Bunnie peered at her watch, "C'mon, we gotta go meet Sugah-hog and head back to

Knothole."

Sonic had all ready been waiting for the girls at the junk pile. "'Bout time!"

He remarked when he saw them jogging up to him.

"Did you lose the SWaTBots?" Sally asked.

Sonic nodded, "They were a push over."

All the girls shrieked as a laser from above hit the ground in front of them.

The hover unit then flew over them, made a U-turn and changed down at them.

"Time to juice!" Sonic exclaimed.

Sally took a hold of Sonic, Bunnie held onto Sally and Alison to Bunnie. Sonic

pulled the power ring from his backpack and held it into the air. It glowed for

a short second, then Sonic dashed out of Robotropolis.

Back at Knothole, the four of them sat around a table and talked of their recent

mission.

Sally and Alison sat next to each other and Alison looked off into the distance.

Sally spoke to her, "I'm sorry I got you into so much trouble. I was so jealous

of you and Sonic always being together I actually turned to Snively for help. I

hope you can forgive me." Alison didn't respond at all. "Alison, please for give

me." Sally put her hand on Alison's shoulder.

In response, Alison jumped as if she was startled, "Huh... oh, sorry, did you

say something?"

Sally sighed and rolled her eyes, "Nothing important."

"Y'know, Sal, after all that, we still don't know ol' Butt-nik's plan to uncover

Knothole's location." Sonic declared.

"Well save that for another day, Sonic."

"Whatever you say, Sal. Hey, you wanna come to my hut and have some dinner?"

"Sure."

Sally and Sonic both stood up, hooked arms and walked over toward Sonic's hut.

"Looks lahk y'all lost yer guy." Bunnie remarked to Alison.

Alison shrugged as she watched Sonic and Sally, "He was never really mine.

Besides, having a boyfriend isn't really the first thing on my mind right now."

Bunnie nodded, "Ah understand, honey, Ah understand."

A few feet behind them, Sorceress quietly peaked out from the bush she hid

behind and watched Alison closely making sure not to be seen or noticed.

Fortunately, the Freedom Fighters rescued Alison without her help, but she would

always be ready for next time
