Here it is! The long awaited chapter 3! … Perhaps a few weeks late but eh.
So as all of you are are aware by now Salamander is no longer our main chapter artist. After her resignation at the start of the month it sent all of us into kinda a.. panic lets say. Where were we going to find a new artist on such short notice!?? Well.. Needless to say I never imagined that I already had a artist on my staff. So here we are, Saber is our new artist. Some of you might recognize him from his Sonic game reviews that can be found on the forum. So hopefully we doesn’t let us all down.. RIGHT?
Oh also, don’t think that I let Salamander run off too far. She will be doing the next short.
Also, as Ive mentioned in the past 2 posts (If you haven’t seen them check them out. I posted some un released art from ch1) we now have ads. These ads won’t turn into annoying pop ups or anything like that. They are just simple banner ads on the sides of Sea3on, the forum, and a few other sections. We added the ads in because myself and John want to do a lot more for the Sonic community. We already pay for the site and Sea3on our of our own pockets (Yes, we pay our writer and artist) and we have also given a generous donation to Eddie Lebron’s Sonic Movie. Got lost looking at peoples genitalia.. And what story line? This is the first page of Ch3. I showed some un released art over the last few days thats it.
You can easily catch up by going up to the calender thingy and quickly looking through the last chapters…I was going to try to be the artist but I took too long making my art, then my 5-year old next door neighbor flushed it down the toilet…..O_O

Hmm… I think Saber’s art is more on-model than the preview pics of his, though I’ve noticed that there’s a lack of any highlight colors. It makes the page appear a lot more simple and dull than it should. Though, this may be just a result of the environment, as Robotropolis IS fairly dreary. Nevertheless, it looks absolutely wonderful, and I can’t wait to see where the chapter ends up going.
Also, Tikhaos, I feel for you, man. I got strep throat halfway through making my bid for the comic. XP But I think I enjoy finding the story out as a reader more than I would have as the series artist.

I agree! Weren’t Bunnie and Rotor with Sally. Although the Two Bunnies thing could have happened inbetween these. Dulcy hasn’t yet appeared despite being mentioned in Ben’s notes to realise her powers! This could be the big power thing Tails finds. Can Fang the Sniper be hired when Naugus takes over? Because Fang is the best!

It’s not my opinion…I’ve read that in the comics, Rotor is portrayed as gay (obviously, only with subtle hints, not openly, because “that would be homophobic” I guess…). I read a quote from the comics writer confirming it. And Bunnie married Antoine there, that’s for sure.
….God I hate archie comics, though come to think of it that does sound like their usual standard of boneheaded decision making so I’m not really that surprised.

@soniczfan I agree with you. I have EVERY issue (except #1/4) and never once did it portray Rotor like that…
For those that don’t know, #1/4 was a six-page “preview” issue that came out before the original 4-issue mini-series.
Ken Penders said Rotor’s gay, but that was after he had already stopped writing for the comics. There was one scene at the beginning of the first M25YL story (that Penders wrote) that maybe suggested this, but I seem to have been the only one who ever noticed, so maybe I’m wrong. Either way, I’m pretty sure Ian has said no to Rotor being gay shortly after Ken said this.
What I find humorous is how Rotor’s fawning over a simple camera. Reminds me of how Sonic mistook that electromagnet in Game Guy for a toaster, and was dissappointed when Sally told him that it wasn’t.

I read it in an interview with the writer, Ian “something”. An extract was in archie sonic wikia.
He said that he subtly hinted it in “Mobius: 25 (or 30, I don’t remember) Years Later”.

and no i do not think evrything before 172 is too early they are still good but anything before 100 to me sucks (if they have to do with the early issues)
