The basic summary is: A backstory on Sonic and Robotnik, although is much 'sillier' and not really related to the SatAM storyline (even though Sally is in it.)
Sonic and Robotnik are orphans, living with Sonic's Uncle Chuck. Robotnik is a little brat, interested in robots, and always trying to hurt Sonic.

He leaves finally, after Sonic destroys one of his robots. Eight years later, he is back. He's kidnapped the King of Mobius and taken over. He roboticizes many of the Mobians. When Sonic goes to fight him, he meets Princess Sally. They manage to rescue Sonic's uncle and dog, and they escape to Knothole.

The basic summary is: On a scouting mission, the Freedom Fighters are attacked by Robotnik's troops. Bunnie is captured and Sonic and Co. come to her rescue, but not before she is partially roboticized.

The basic summary is: Rotor is captured. He learns from Snively that Robotnik is looking for a list made by King Acorn that tells other Freedom Fighter groups and locations. He escapes and tells the others. Later, the Knothole crew discover a scrap of poem that has clues to the list's location. They go to Robotropolis and look for the list. Robotnik finds it first, but they manage to retrieve it from him.
