Artist Needed

Artist!

So over the last little while the comic Sea3on has been delayed. Partly with sickness, sharing time between S3A and S3, and other stuff.

I’m making this post more regarding the comic. I’m in need of a new comic artist currently. My main artist Stephen has had much going on and while he tells me he wants to stay going, it just isn’t feasible at this time.

This of course is sad news for all of us, as he has been the most epic of comic artists with plenty of fans. So I’m sure filling his shoes will be a hard thing to do. However for the survival of Sea3on it does have to be done.
SO! If you are interested in being part of the Sea3on comic as a head artist, please shoot me a email with your application and any art you have.

Cheers,

Paul.

Oh gosh I thought Im Happy Face was Knux but I see him in the tree xD New character? 8D Look at those jealous fuels.
    And I hope you find an artist, I’d volunteer but I have a full schedule this semester. ;v;

Thought that too at first glance ^_^

This is pretty shocking news. I’ve read the announcement about Saber possibly having pneumonia, so all the best to you for a good recovery, Saber!

Looking for a new Sea3on comic artist seems like a reasonable step now that it’s been almost a quarter year since the last page, but surpassing Saber in quality seems pretty much impossible to me unless proven otherwise. I have neither the required skill nor the experience with computer graphics (yet even a graphics tablet) needed to draw something even close to S3 chapter 5, also not the time, so I’m definitely out of the selection of possible replacement artists.
Of course I’d love to see the Sea3on comic continue because it’s simply AWESOME, so looking for a new artist now to keep the comic going seems like a good idea, as I said before; but would it be possible to get Saber back on board when he has recovered? Like the new artist only covering for Saber during his sickness period.
I know it sounds pretty demanding and that I’m in no position to decide that because it’s up to Paul, also because Sea3on has had a change in artists before, but Saber’s work is so great that I’d love to see more of it along with one of my favourite series, even if it’s going to take a while, but that would be worth it.

    Knuckles is jealous too?!!

Poor Sonic, as if just having Antoine crushing on his girl was bad enough.

Ah, actually the gag with Knuckles is he’s stalking Smiley Face.

Thank you very much, scififry. I didn’t know what was going on, still don’t. I just knew my mom had it, so I might have… but then everything started to get better… then it came back. I’m doing better, though! Just took… 2 and a half weeks… ugh.

Though, the big reason with the recent delays is due to job searching. Once I get a job, I doubt I’ll be able to keep up with the comic at that rate. So, rather than wait till later, I figured it would be for the best to address it now.

Cowardly Knuckles, can’t even give Sally the gift by himself!

You’re welcome, saber. Glad to hear that you’re doing better.
As much as it’s a pity not having the comic done by you I understand your reason…it’s no use pushing oneself too hard, and taking measures before it’s too late is a good idea too.

Saber, you gave this comic a face. Your art improvements are visible, from your first chapter to this point, and it’s a great inspiration. I hope your successor will be able to keep up with your quality and unique way of drawing faces 😉

    (In reply to Saber)

Ah, that dose make more sense now.

I’m guessing going back to Salamander isn’t an option?

My vote is on Glitcher, the Artwork of “Me and My Shadow” was amazing.
