How about Sonic does kills Tails out of rage. (Could you imagine how the Tails fans would react?).
Somehow I think Sonic killing Tails isn’t going to happen…
Tails: “Hey! I think I see a power ring! I’ll take it this time.”
Sonic: “Nah. I only use those.”
Tails: “But I wanna use it this time!”
Sonic: “It’s only for me Tails.”
Tails: “Yeah but you always get them!”
Sonic: “I ONLY get them”
Tails: “But I REALLY wanna use it!”
Sonic: “Too bad you CAN’T use it!”

Looks like Tails might wanna hit the gym after this mission, he seems to be having trouble carrying Sonic. Either that or the blue wonder’s been packing away too many chilidogs. Love how eager Tails is here, especially in the third panel. Sonic has to reign him in. I especially love that you have him flying. He did it so little in the series it was almost like it was being written out. Antoine and Sonic’s conversation in the end was just classic “Sometimes ‘Probably’ isn’t enough.” 😀
I vote Tails accidentally drops Sonic.
