Ah, no three headed leprechaun… BUT we do get our first real look at these War Claws we’ve been hearing about.
So sorry for the delay, but I was having a real pain trying to get the background and effects like smoke, lighting, and textures to look good. Overall… I’M FINALLY DONE!
Nothing to do now but move forward.

Ah, Warclaws, should have seen that coming. Should have guessed considering the prior reports of their scouts in the area.

I love the artwork on this one, very well lined and colored.
I get the feeling these War Claws are gonna be a big part the plot for a while following this.
Ooh what’s the book… and I’m more excited by some mystical book than the fact that there are the War Claws we’ve been hearing about.
Also the style of this page is simply amazing, well worth the long wait. Also Nicole’s face in panel five (is it) is just perfect, I like the small effect with her ear and eyes.
I wasn’t expecting the War Claws to be wolves. I figured they would be bears. On another note, I can’t wait to see how they will impact the story.

Btw, “what have we here?”. Is it written on purpose? I would have expected it from Romero, whose name seems to be Hispanic in the same way that Antoine is French, but from Captain Kale?

Aside from the claw pauldrons, the armor design reminds me of that used by the Imperial Knights in the Star Wars Legacy comics.
Why are the War Claws in the cave? What are they up to and what are they after?
