Wow…Been a long time since I have posted anything in here. Juat been Stephen the last few months. But I have been a tad busy.
If you haven’t heard already, we are in the process of making Sea3on a animated show. Yep! As of right now we have a lot on the go. The promotion trailer is currently under works as we are just starting to go through colour tests for the characters. One example of the different textures we are looking at is in the picture right above us. Again that paticular colour texture is just a test. One of..I think 10 we currently have.

Geez, your comic is SURPRISINGLY well written, and over the years your color, line, and overall art quality has spiked signifigantly. I really love this! Great job to everyone. I’m enthusiastic for seeing the animated version; best of luck getting good voice actors, and I can’t wait to see your guys’ animation style 😀
odd question I know, but do you plan on (at one point) linking this in with the comic lore? I know it isn’t perfect, but if this ever comes to a close or the authors feel like stopping, I think it would be smart to end with a place we can pick up on.
I mean this with no negative intentions

The staff have stated numerous times that Sea3on has nothing to do whatsoever with the Archie Sonic comics. The Archie comics and SatAM have always been different continuities, and Sea3on is set squarely in the latter.

I would have been fine with a wholly unique style, but this frame displays Sally to BETTER than exact proportion… it’s an improvement! Given the already intelligent storyline, and THIS, the show is going to be amazing, without a doubt.
Hey guys, comic’s coming soon. Just need to get some school stuff done before I can. If I’m quick enough, it’ll be up by tomorrow night… but if we keep in mind how reliable my sense of timing is… It’ll be up by next Wednesday… maybe the week after…
But in all seriousness, it’ll be up soon. Tomorrow or Saturday.

It really depends on who’s written it. It may be spelled correctly.

No, I spelled it right. Actually I spelled it the way most of the english world spells it. If I was in America, yes I would spell it “color”. But I’m in Canada thus it is spelled “colour”

That was the doubt I had. I’ve always been told that “colour” is British English and “color” is American English, but I didn’t know which spelling was used in Canada.

It was more confusing to me because in french, we prononce it ”couleur”, so in english i’ve usualy heard it as ”color”. But sometime i’ve heard ”colour” (like here), making it more confusing of how it is supposed to be in english :S
There is actually a large number of words that are spelled differently between Canada/Britian/America.

Page is almost done guys. Just need to get something taken care of later today and I’ll finish right up, the last step is just shading and additional coloring. Then once the page is done, I’ll get back to updating regular. I’ve just been worn out these past few weeks, all the drawing I’m doing for school and dealing with a stupid sinus thing, I’ve had a hard time with the current page. It’s become a running gag where everyone tells me not to worry about it as I go all, “I HAVE FAILED YOU ALL” on you guys, but it’s still that nagging feeling I have.
At the same time, I hate throwing these little “Update” comments out of fear that I’ll be wrong- that… I dunno, I’ll be hit by lightening and the page will be delayed another few weeks – but at the very least I want to let you guys now what the hold up is.
As for what I’m doing in school, I landed myself in courses that require a lot of drawing and refining. When I’m not working on a website portfolio and making or touching up my drawings, I’m tackling homework that requires a lot of sketching and cleanup (the first two homework assignments involved 30 drawings of objects/ characters in various poses).
When I’m not busy with those, I’m working on the comic.
… or sleeping.
