Also, because I have been doing this the last few weeks I have thought up another question for all of you out there.
Do you approve or disapprove of the presence of Chaos Emeralds in this storyline? Simple question, should have a lot of simple answers. SIMPLE answers CTM. Not 8 paragraph ones.
Thats really about it for now. We will probably have a few big announcements to make closer to the end of this chapter, but that shouldn’t be in till mid October.

…And no one answers the question… Fine, let me be the first. Yes, I do approve of the chaos emeralds being used in SatAM Season 3. As long as we see what relation they have to the other powerful gemstones shown in the show. I kinda like how you guys are creating an original mythology behind them too!

The chaos emeralds MUST be in every Sonic storyline. I mean come on, they were the origional story behind the video games. Sonic was first introduced by a video game in which part of beating the game meant that you had to get all the chaos emeralds. Then every game after that, you had to get all the chaos emeralds. You cannot write a Sonic story with origional characters like Robotnik, Tails, and Knuckles, and not have chaos emeralds. If they were not in this story, I’d be complaining and asking why the h### have you not mentioned the chaos emeralds!!

Well Sonicblur13, taking to your questions I have decided to do something to answer those questions and others. Ive talked it over with our main writer and artist to post a few things. Such as how to do a good storyline, information and so on. As well as character sketches, designs, and the “how to” like the red glowing eyes.

I don’t mind the presence of the Chaos Emeralds, though I can take or leave them for SatAM. Honestly I’d think the DP stones and the power stone making Sonic’s rings and powering Lower Mobius is enough if you really want to get into it. Still the Chaos Emeralds are a nice touch, and should prove to be interesting.

I neither approve nor disapprove. I’ve yet to see how the comic handles them. We’ve only seen a flashback scene that mostly hints (rather vaguely) at their future purpose, which may or may not be what happens in the actual storyline. I’ll admit that their interpretation (so far) in the world of SatAM is potentially creative, such as name-dropping a culture only mentioned once in a throwaway line in the series. I’ll remain on the fence until I see more, however.
Truth be told I was expecting more replies similar to yours CTM. We have yet to build up anything with the Chaos Emeralds. For all you know they could be used to bring Robotnic back as Eggman… But we actually like having readers so that won’t happen.
I was hoping to get a sense on just how many thought we might be running off the traditional SatAM road and so on. Mind you, there is only so much you can actually follow on that road before breaking off into your own thing. Archie comics did it, however i don’t think you will see us take that exact road.
The hole purpose to Sea3on is bring a end to that cliffhanger and continue on in the SatAM world. Of course working with only 2 seasons of material we will be left to our own devices eventually.
i approve the presence of them but disaprove of the location of them. they should appear randomly in random spots that make you think “how did it get there”.

I approve the Chaos Emeralds, but there should be a good reason for them to appear, after all, they ARE powerfull stones. Thinking a little bit about the relation they have with the Deep Power Stones, I think the lastest are some kind of fragment from the C. E.
