When I first learned of Ben’s death I decided to scrap this weeks update. I asked Salamander if she could do up a nice memorial picture for it and.. This is what I got. In the last few days she actually painted this on canvas, this is why its a bit late. Normally just a comic page takes a week for her to do.. So a painting in 3 days is just amazing.

Sorry for the canned comic this week. Myself and the staff just figured that this would be a proper tribute. Seeing as Sea3on is based off of what information we got from Ben.
Anyways we shall see you next week when Tails dies. As always, thanks for sharing your time with us.

hey paul what happens if you finnish a page early?
August tenth. No one learned about it in till August 31st though.
Pages are only posted on Fridays. doesn’t matter if its finished early or not. We stay on a schedule. Sometimes they might be a bit late but we try not to let them.
It’s a shame that sometimes important news tends to travel slowly to the people who care and want to know it.
Ben will be missed.

Gojira writes. Salamander is the artist. John is the investor cause we pay for sea3on to be done, as well as producer, make sure Gojira stays on the proper story and so on. I do the make sure Gojira and Salamander stay on the proper story and so on, I also handle all the public relations for Sea3on, and FUS.
On top of that I also handle the release dates, make sure everything is going smoothly, and yadda yadda yadda.
Man paul you do a lot of stuff. i didn’t know that it took all of that to do a page…. I just thought you were really good artists in the Paint progam. but wow, there not that bad as drawers, unlike mine, i try and draw sonic and it looks like crap. ^-^;. but you yourself had more work then the others… well to me it is.
Well I don’t do any of the art. Like I said thats all Salamander. I can’t draw for the life of me. I’m merely just the guy who talks to you all, annoys everyone, and get the comic out when needed. I do other stuff to for public relations, advertisement on other sites and so on, but thats really not hard. I actually like dealing with people.
The hard stuff is what Gojira and Salamander do. They turn everything from just ideas into full scripts then full comics. What I do is just simple and lazy compared to them.
Salamander is also my main webmaster for FUS. I don’t know how to code or ..well anything like that. Nor does John. So Salamander does a lot for us. I’m just simply the guy who bosses people around and talks to the public. Nothing hard like writing full scripts or drawing everything up.
Without Salamander and Gojira there would be no Sea3on. John and myself were lucky to get them for this project when we did.
On another note however FUS will be releasing a completely original comic sometime in the near future. This comic called The Inside Joke is fully just a work from John and myself. John is a pretty good cartoon artist when it comes down to it, so both of us are putting up scripts etc etc and ya. We’ve got 3 pages already completed for it but no release date yet. We are planning a release for mid winter but we will see how that goes.
R.I.P., Ben. If there is indeed a heaven on the other side of this life, your place is guaranteed there.

Awww, thanx for that beautiful pic Salamander! I’m actually crying, that’s cause it’s a beautiful pic, and knowing it’s in memory of Ben is even more touching! XD LOL i feel like Dulcy on “Drood Henge”. I found out about Ben’s passing on the SATam facebook page, then spread my condolences on SMS and here. RIP Ben Hurst, see u in Heaven!
I forgot to post this in my previous comment but it’s cool that even Robotnik has joined in the memorial LOL.

Too bad. He was a great writer. I have diabetes myself. It can be hard to control if its really bad.
