Onto news now, I have nothing. Oh, we got rid of the Spam forum over on the boards although I doubt anyone really cares much about that. Oh yeah, there is something about FUS having its best month ever since its hight around the DVD release. FUS went from something around 2 thousand visits back in July of 09 when John and myself took over, to last month at 26 thousand. So not bad. Can only keep going up from here huh? Trust me, we don’t plan on loosing any fans. With Sea3on, the episode commentary, game reviews, all of our SatAM info, and lots more coming, makes us have the best SatAM board around. What makes you think that?
Side stories are just small stories based here and there. Whatever happens in a side story can and will affect the arc in whatever way it does. In fact side stories can be the short story that leads up to the next chapter. Really side stories are just small tid bits of information that yes, does tie into the main arc.

Glitcher – Sonic had suicidal emo tendency’s but luckily solved them before Tails almost died. HOWEVER now he is sad over Tails almost dying. Next Chapter: Sonic goes on anti depression pills!

That blathering run-on sentence is exactly why I think you should write the next short. It will ‘probley’ be funnier than anything the rest of us could write. BTW, I know I’ve asked you this before, but how old are you? You don’t have anything to worry about a guy on the other side of the Atlantic.
As I mentioned on the first page, reflections are a recurring motif in this story. The part where Bunnie gets knocked through glass wasn’t in the script, but is something I added later. The reflections of Bunnie’s evil twin surrounding her and the clause “… you are to be roboticized” is meant to hint at when Bunnie was originally roboticised. The memories of that incident and the thought that Rotor would suffer the same fate is what causes her to snap. Although not particularly gratuitous, I was a little conflicted over the presence of blood in this scene, since I knew it was something we would never see in the show. But I reasoned it would be appropriate for the tone of the comic and the wounds would accentuate Bunnie’s rage.

Hey IAMAWESOME if you can draw and i could write, then maybe we could work together on a short, but it would have to be awahile tell that might happen, something tells me that paul has at lest the next two or three shorts planned out

You know, nothing is stopping you and IAMAWESOME collaborating on your own comic. It would be good practice for creative young minds such as yourselves and I’m curious to see what you can come up with. It doesn’t matter whether or not the next shorts planned, Paul says FUS will host a section dedicated to fan comics. At least, that’s what he wants us to believe…

I have an idea for the comic. After King Acorn returns (in the notes he is used as bait for Sally to lure her in) and gets sent back to the Void, Sally’s mood completely changes and she orders Rotor to build a portal to the Void so she can rescue her father (it will teleport him out), but it doesn’t work and explodes. Sally totally gives a mouthful to Rotor and they realise that Rotor’s lab is in the Void! She kicks Rotor out, telling him to come back with her father, but when he discovers King Acorn, he sees an insane Robotnik (for this to work, only King Acorn is pulled out the Void for live bait, instead of Robotnik as well) cowering before him, apparently believing himself to be captured citizen before his former self. Rotor brings them both back. Sally’s mood reverts to normal once her father returns, but she spots Robotnik and almost kills Rotor in rage thinking he has betrayed her. Rotor tells her that Robotnik has gone mad, and she then notices, apoligising. Robotnik fixes the portal to send them back. Being insane, they manage to turn him to a Freedom Fighter, and he knows everything Snively will do, with Snively’s plans being a former one of his that failed. I have no more ideas but I hope you may use this story at some point in the comics storyline. I knew Chuck wasn’t dead! 😀

Both shorts are awesome, but I’m a bit impatient about seeing how does the storyline continue now Knuckles has been revealed.
Forgot about this story I once wrote. Snively builds Metal Sonic with the Chaos Emeralds, but when he gets injured, Sonic absorbs them and become StC’s Super Sonic. Snively manipulates this evil Sonic, telling him to destroy Knothole. Super confronts Robotnik, who stares into his eyes. Super Sonic’s spirit inhabits Robotnik, restoring him to his former evil self, and Super Sonic becomes good again, as Robotnik was. Robotnik says to Good Super Sonic he turned Super good, Sonic believing him, defeats Snively. Robotnik drags Snively back to Robotropolis, where upon entering the main control room, is shocked to see Naugus, who has took control of Robotropolis, and Robotnik becomes his lackey, and Snively goes to the Freedom Fighters (as in Ben’s notes). Snively makes an attemot to betray the Freedom Fighters by rebuilding Metal Sonic, but Antoine sits on a chair, finds it isn’t comfy, gets up and sees Metal Sonic’s head. He attempts to tell the Freedom Fighters, but as he convinces them it is true, Metal Sonic appears behind him, knocking him unconscious. Sonic engages in battle, but loses, for Knuckles to come and help, stating that a Master Emerald shard is inside it. The knock to Antoine’s head has made him braver than ever, as he goes to his hut, gets a sword his father gave to him (as in Archie), and destroys the Metal Sonic by slicing it in half as Knuckles and Sonic are about to destroy it together. Snively has seen all this, and attempts to make a run for it with the shard, which he quickly takes, but is stopped by Knuckles. He demands the others, but Snively tell him Naugus is using them to power Robotropolis. Knuckles becomes a Freedom Fighter and hides the Master Emerald shards in his hut. He becomes Sonic’s rival for Sally’s affection, almost winning until she finds he was using the Freedom Fighters to get the Master Emerald back. Heartbroke, Sally tells Knuckles he has no place in her heart. Knuckles regretting his actions, uses his strenght to move the shrine for the Emerald into Knothole, placing the Emerald there, not knowing that both Robotnik and Snively know where it is. No more ideas.
Shorts are 10 pages. New chapter should start on the 24th, as we should be going back to Friday updates.
@ Fanman: That was the outfit she was in when she was derobotized in the episode Sonic Conversion, the very difference between the comic Bunnie and SatAM Bunnie was shown there, as SatAM Bunnie only her legs were robotized, in the comic it was from the waist down.
Is it just me or does something just not look right with Bunnie’s face in the last panel? Honestly the rest of the comic she’s looked perfect but that one panel just doesn’t look right to me.

Sounds like you’ve given this a lot of thought. The best way to see your ideas realized is to draw the comic yourself. Our Creative Corner forum could use some new material and you could share a friendly rivalry with star and IAMAWESOME. Or me. :p
i haven’t heard anything from IAMAWESOME if he/she dosen’t return then i still might do the comic but instead of drawing it, wicth will be a fail i’ll just use sprits, like sprits from sonic advance, only down side is there wont be sally 🙁 and instead AMY!! *runs and hides* but i get to put my fan charter in the place of her at times. and to let poeple know so john dosen’t judge me anyworse than a crazy idiot with a computer i’m not a sonally hater, just sonamy hater, that’s why my fancharter takes her place 🙂 and the only reason no sally is she’ll look way off from the others
Yeesh, I despise sprite comics. They only serve to single out people who don’t give a crap about the art in the comic. Even the worst hand-drawn comic looks better than a sprite comic, because at least they show a glimmer of artistic consideration.
HEY I DO CARE ABOUT THE ART IN COMICS, let’s put it this way, lets compare my drawings to poo, it makes the poo look like roses, my drawing are maybe even worest than the worest thing out there….. alright maybe not that bad but close enough, it’s rather a sprit comic or them just letting me post storys. eaither way out of this i’m going to get conivinced to do one stupid thing or the other but i am not makeing you guys think i don’t care about the art in comics, these artists are the best i’ve seen in a long time and i ain’t lettin someone tell people lies about me
Sweet comic, i hope bunnie stays derobotisized because she looks perty cool but i highly dought it because she needs her super strength to help the other freedom fighters.
Oh and were’s sonic he could really help.
