Anyways thats page 6 for you. Again the shorts have 10 pages so the 3rd chapter should start on the 24th. Providing we go back to the Friday updates that is. AWESOME HUH?!!
Onto other news, I’m curious to what you all think of Sonic Colors. Is it the saving grace for Sonic? Or is it the same mess up as him being some WareHog thing. Yea bunnie thats the way to do it. Oh i like how the glass showes the reflection of the robot bunnie like it is the other half of bunnie.

watch there be some crazy plot twist where both of them share damage. Sure, the scratches were superficial, but that’s structural damage that robo-bunnie’s getting. if they share damage………

Painting this page was quite unique because it’s the first time I tried to use colours to express emotion in a comic. Compared to previous pages, the contrast here is much stronger to match the intensity of the scene. You’ll also notice that the background changes colour, starting off as brown at the top and becoming more red as the assault reaches its climax. Another reflection appears here; first it was Bunnie, then it was Robo-Bunnie, now it’s both. That’s deep, man. Deep!

Is it just me, or does the violence seem a little out of place? I don’t know, it’s just something I don’t really expect from a Sonic story, at least not to this degree.

Funny you should mention that. In the original script Bunnie is topless during this fight scene, and wielding a rocket launcher that fires dead Mobian babies. We… figured that was a bit TOO extreme for a satAM story, so we toned it back to what you see now.

Violence certainly didn’t feel out of place for me, if I was 10 and watching this on TV it probably would, but many of the original sat am fan base are in their 20’s now. The level of violence and maturity of the story telling reflects the current SAT AM audience really well.

SONIC COLORS was super easy. The levels are really short and almost beat themselves. It definitely seems aimed at a younger crowd.
I can’t specifically name the problem, but I just wasn’t too interested in the game. I took it back after 7 days.
But I pre-ordered it, and was anticipating a great new Sonic game. . . I still like the hat that came with the game though! I would have really loved that when I was a kid, freaking out over Sonic merchandise.

I’m 21 years old, and it still feels out of place to me. I can’t explain it. But hey, I’m still digging this story.
Bought Sonic Colours the other day, hated it took it back and traded it for Epic Mickey (great Game).
The thing with sonic colours is… it’s the only sonic game since sonic adventure 2 which isn’t absolutely dreadful, instead it’s just crap and people have assumed this means its a good game.
The levels are too easy and almost entirely linear, the story is dreadful (it instantly dissolves into self parody, as they clearly can’t be bothered to hire decent writers).
I’m not out to bash sonic because I want more than anything for sonic games to be amazing, but if you have any ounce of interest in character, story or innovative, rewarding or challenge gaming experience you’ll hate it.
Buy Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns or Epic Mickey instead.
Some people tend to go psycho when you mess with their friends and loved ones… And Bunny seems to be one such person. In such a state, it may be possible for her to actually hurt herself by over-exerting herself, rather than relying on something as convoluted as “the robot and her share damage/injury”. She may be hopped up on adrenaline right now and unable to feel pain, but she’ll probly at least be extremely sore when it wears off…
