Remember, the best way to bring out that long awaited shine is to do battle with a Robot! Look at how clear that reflection is! Marvellous!
I need those guest comics, bitches! http://sonicsatam.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2556&st=0
Other news.. Hm. Not yet. Monday? Maybe. Tuesday? I don’t think so. Monday. Yes Monday sounds good. I hope. Maybe?

Should this scene be called “The morning after the storm”? Beautiful scene by the way.
Absolutely stunning. Bravo.
What a shine…
Artwork = Beautiful
Well, in a way that metal arm is brand-spanking new, so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t look brilliant. 🙂
what i dont get is why the birds are realistic sized, and everyone else i giant
For the same reason that humans are giants compared to chimpanzees.
hey glitcher i the freedom fighters live in the forest howcome they have water fossets’ axes’ binoculars’lanterns’ropes’spears and clothing when those materials are not avaliable to them in the forest?
Poor Bunnie.
Bet she feels like sobbing inside after another failed experiment.
@sonicblur13 scavenging from Robotropolis mostly and items before the Koo, and they also have Rotor and his workshop of wonders.
I’m really impressed on how much this comic has evolved over the past year. The artwork, the story, the symbolism. Its gradually become the worthy successor to SatAM. I can honestly see these being legitimate episodes. The Bunnie solo story alone destroys all the crappy Antonie episodes. Great work everyone!
@AKnotholeResident: Well of course it takes Antonie’s wife to fix his mess XD
Though I was wondering: In the last page the wires and stuff that came out of her arm were purple, but in SatAM her robot parts are gray, as they are when complete in this page. Color error?
@LegacyElite84
The ‘koo’? Don’t you mean the coup? (Actually, I think I prefer it your way. XD )
@Rosy
Most shadows and dark colours on the last page had a purple tint due to the sterile lighting, while the colours here look more natural in daylight. I didn’t think you’d take the change so literally.
I’m glad readers enjoy the artwork, but I think the first two panels on this page are ridiculous filler. With a 20/20 hindsight, I probably should have used the space to show Bunnie having flashbacks about her assault on Robo Bunnie. It would have strengthened the connection to the red-eye reflection on the last panel. Obviously it’s intended to be a throwback to the first page and the seam shows her two sides have returned, but the halo is nowhere to be seen now. Not after what she did…
@Glitcher: The reason I asked if it was an error was in case it was confused with her coloring in Archie Comics, as in there her robotic limbs are purple.
And while I gotta agree that the first two are filler, the look on her face I think it’s easy to tell what’s on her mind, and that she was flashing back to yesterday.
If this were the actual animation, that scene would remain silent, the look on her face is powerful stuff.
Another excellent job.
@sonicblur13: Their location is a forrest. That doesn’t mean that they have to live like savages. Between Sally and Rotor, they could easily have engineered a water system. Also note that they have a water wheel and a stream running through the village. So, they could get the water from the stream, and the power from the water wheel or some salvaged generators. Or possibly even a lightning collection system. Or a Sonic-powered treadmill and batteries. The tools were likely stuff brought to Knothole by those who fled during the take-over, and those picked up on missions, or provided by Uncle Chuck while he was doing the double agent thing.
Wow…this scene was beautiful.
Now I understand all the meaning you put into the halo in the first page.
I wonder if this will have any consequences in the next episode.
Oh by the way Glitcher, I have a present for you:

@Ultimate Hammer Bro
YES! The real page has surfaced at last. Thanks for uncovering this hidden secret, brah. :p
@Glitcher
No prob. I only had to get in Paul’s secret fortress, hack his computer and find it.
I also found the page where tails dies in episode 2 and where Bunnie turns into a clown 😀
The artwork on this page itself is an achievment
Beautiful, stunning artwork and a sobering story – I love how you really capture the spirit of Satam. Excellent work.
@ Glitcher
so the lack of halo is a symbol to innocence lost?
I like to think all the Freedom Fighters have done something they arent proud of, but Bunnie is the one you would not expect to go “Rorschach” on someone/something. After all, if it were a real Roboticizer victim, it was Mobian once…
@Kurt
“I like to think all the Freedom Fighters have done something they arent proud of”
I find that hard to believe. I’d like to hear what you think the Freedom Fighters have done bad, including Tails.
Forgive my wording… I meant regrets regarding the war they are waging, not necisarily a bad thing they have done. Such as Sally for having to leave her father in the void, no fault of hers of course, but wonder how she privately feels about letting him go for example. I realise i may be off topic so sorry.
Great work, I just stumbled across page 4 of this a couple of weeks ago and became hooked.
Beautiful work, poor Bunnie
This was a great story. You guys do good work.
I just have to wonder how that wooden railing can support a cyborg like her. It seems too thin and weak.
Some serious Post-process fx on that TREE…
Fancy word for “motion blur”
The coloring in these pages is amazing . . . almost like the show itself has been captured on paper
The treehouse exterior looks absolutely stunning like it looks like I would want to live in knothole like leave the human world and go trough an inter dimensional portal to the SatAM dimension and my animal character would be a male bunny not with robot parts and I would have a Texas accent like Bunnie’s.
