I know chapter 3 was going to be released today but sadly it will have to be put on hold. Salamander the main chapter artist sent me some news tonight and she is having to drop out from our project. Reasons range from a new job, to school, to a busy ass schedule that has no room for us. So we wish her the best in her journey. However that leaves us without a main artist. No good. I don’t like delaying stuff, not one bit. I also don’t like the idea of having to find another artist after a year but stuff happens.
So, are you a artist? Can you keep a weekly schedule? Do you like getting thousands of people each month viewing your work? Do you like getting paid for your work (not much but we do pay)? Email me at Paul@SonicSatAM.com and show off some of your stuff. We are looking for someone long term who can keep a weekly schedule. Scripts are still done by Gojira, we just need a artist to follow them and be part of the team.
If no one applies you will continue to get random pictures with circled genitalia.

Wow, this is sudden! Just a few hours ago you were waiting for the latest page to be completed, now you’re telling us that Salamander has to leave Sea3on for good. I’m crushed. Her artwork was amazing and I was repeatedly impressed by her ability to improve while still maintaining a weekly schedule. No one will miss her work more than me. The comic won’t be the same without her.

Your style matches SatAM perfectly, and the only difference you should do to keep with the project would be making outlines black instead of different colours, like in the short.
What do you say?
Also, if Glitchers turns it down, another possibility would be Carina Kadow, who made the first short. I don’t know how he/she would do with the whole comic, but “Waiting is the hardest part”, had a very good art.
I really hope this project doesn’t fall…at least, if no one is found (I’d do it if I had time to keep with a schedule and a bit more talent, and I were older and not so lazy, and…) Gojira could publish his scripts in fanfic style. At least, we’d know Sea3on keeps going.
oh man………Salamander i wish you best of lucky with your new job, and i hope somone will be able to take her spot i agree with Ultimate Hammer Bro to a limit. Glicther’s art was pretty close to the normal main comic, when i frist saw it i thought you guys skiped the short….if she didn’t do it, the person from the frist short ‘waiting is the hardest part’ could do it again but would have to see if she/he could add some color to it, with Gorjira makeing it a fanfic, it is actually already, it’s just script form if someone turns it into a show.

Well star, I don’t think Carina would have any problem adding color, the short itself was in b/w, but that doesn’t mean she can work outside of it.

I have to agree with everyone else. If Glitcher has the time to do the art of the comic then I think he would be perfect for the job.
I’ll just quickly say this. Glitcher won’t be the main artist. This is a choice made up by myself and John.
Besides, might be good for the new chapter artist to get drilled by Glitcher if they choose too. I know Salamander was one artist who learned a few things from him.

Hi there. I’m pretty new to this website – I literally stumbled across it by accident just a couple of months ago. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the content available, and I have really enjoyed Sea3on.
Its a shame that Salamander is unable to continue with the comic – her artwork is very good. But hey, I guess life comes first, right?
Not to say that the rest of the comic isn’t good too. I went back and read the very beginning and before I knew it, I was checking back every single Monday (or Friday, whenever the next update was). I think Gojira has tackled the task of continuing such a revered series admirably – even with the notes of Ben Hurst (RIP, dude), there are a great many things that could have gone wrong.
I’m sorry for the long post – this is my first time commenting and I guess I felt that I needed to catch up!
Hopefully, whoever gets the post of new chapter artist will do a good job. I’d like to have a go myself, but there are a few things holding me back – y’know, such as no way to color the pages, and not being able to draw the entire cast of characters yet. However, if anyone is interested, I have set up a DeviantArt page. There isn’t much on it right now, but that’s basically because I don’t have access to a scanner. I’ll be able to post some more later on in the week, though.
Well, apologies once more for taking up the ENTIRE COMMENTS SECTION with my one post. Good luck with Sea3on, good luck to the new artist whomever it may be, and good luck to Salamander with whatever she chooses to do in the future!

Glitcher could not possibly maintain the level of his awesome line art on a weekly basis, as he so rightly admitted himself. We do not want to sacrifice that schedule we have managed keep for so long now. And, unfortunately, we don’t seem to work well with each other behind the scenes and all. Paul and I don’t want that on a full time basis. You know, you can’t butt heads with the people you work with otherwise it can all go horribly weird.
My dear friend Carina would absolutely be up for the job! But she is far too occupied with her own awesome webcomic(s).

Man oh man, life can be cruel mistress to say the least. My most esteemed thanks to Salamander for donating her time and talent. I’m also no stranger to rough schedules, I don’t know if I’m fast enough for weekly updates but I’d love to help in any way i can.
I wouldn’t mind giving it a shot, but I don’t know if I’m qualified for the job.
