… I’m on time for once.
I know. I’m scared to.
I’ve been all over the place this week, trying to get this page done on top of finals, getting ready for a family vacation, and a small job on the side. So… I’m just going crazy.
With that, I’ll be taking a one week break from the comic and in the meantime I’ll look into giving Chief some Sea3on stuff I’ve done on the side, maybe unrelated Sonic things. If anyone wants to post any Sonic stuff to make up for me ditching you all, that’ll be awesome!
With that said, later!

If you wish to submit a fan comic during Steven’s week off you can email me at Paul@sonicsatam.com. Also keep checking back throughout the break as I will (should) be uploading some draft material, behind the scenes stuff, as well as (hopefully) fan comics.
The next Sea3on update will be June 11th, where we will wrap up the final pages of this chapter. Then a month long break filled in by Ann_Chovi’s short.
Cheers,
Paul
Oh Naugus is looking very patient. (For Now)
Well this’ll be interesting wonder how it’ll play out in the long run.
Yeah Sonic and Tails had a brotherly moment.
Knuckles sure looks smug about something. Well can’t wait for however long until next time.
@Tammy SATam: I think that’s Knux’ way of saying “You wanna keep fighting alone against all six of us? Do it and make my day!” to Naugus.
I am disappointed though, for “Part 1,” there isn’t much of a cliffhanger to leave off on…
Chapter isn’t finished yet.
I have a feeling that they will lead Snivelly right to Knothole, or if they’re smart (and you play upon Tails’s advanced mechanical knack), they’ll have Tails encase the thing to throw off Naugus’s senses.
@ Renadt: Tails isn’t the mechanical genius in SatAM that he is in the games and Archie. He’s very intelligent, make no mistake, as evidenced by the episode “Drood Henge”, but at this point he’s still greatly outclassed by Rotor, Uncle Chuck, and Sally.
And now Knuckles will take the emerald away forever and never be seen again.
For a little while, anyway.
So, been reading for a while. I really enjoy this, love how this is developing and that you have Knuckles in it. I really hope you include some other characters from the comic books too (especially Julie-su, she’s my favorite female character) like his father and mother, or Archemedies.
Must admit, from the second panel, I was not expecting Naugy to fold for now. Says something about his ability to see the big picture that he cut his losses when he got outnumbered. Even if he could take all six by himself, for now, why bother?
Yea I agree w/ asher tye, he must have more reasons for leaving the FFs alone for now…
@ CJ: Unfortunately, due to Ken Penders’ legal disputes with Archie over ownership of those characters, we’re really not comfortable using them in “Sea3on”, so they won’t be appearing in the comic. It’s a shame, as I agree they’re great characters, but it’s just how it has to be.
Granted, this chapter isn’t over, as Paul stated. But, something still bothers me: How is it that Naugus has been able to stay in this dimension for so long? He spoke of the released energy of the Doomsday Machine being harnessed in order to help transport him out of the Void via a spell. But are the effects permanent, or temporary? If the latter, then how much longer does Naugus have before he starts to crystalize? I guess I’m just trying to make sense out of this when intellect doesn’t allow me to accept things like this at face value. I have to keep reminding myself that comics don’t operate the way the real world does.
It was explained in chapter 1 how he got out, and I think why the crystalization has stopped. It’s in chapter 3 he goes into further detail what he had to do to get out.
Naugus looks really Cool here.
@gojira
Does that mean Merlin Prower can’t show up? Because I remember quite a few people requested him when Paul asked us about characters we’d like to see adapted into this.
