Done!
That was a longer then planned chapter. Hopefully you all enjoyed it. The next chapter will start in..5 or 6 weeks about. Not exactly set on the time yet. But the plan is to give Steven a much needed break, few weeks off. Then together with him we will start going over the next chapter. And let me tell you.The next chapter is a LOOONNNGGGG one.
Now, just because we aren’t starting the next chapter up for 6 weeks does not mean that we will have nothing for you. Come back next Monday for the first page of a 11 page short. The short will also be updating twice a week!

Seriously, though, very surprising page due to the reveal of Queen Acorn’s first name, which has serious possible implications in light of Ben Hurst’s plans for Nicole. I was actually looking forward to a short providing a change of pace, but now I’m hyped for the next full chapter. Figures.

Oh man the reactions are just perfect and it really get’s you hyped up for the next chapter which is a ways away I think. Oh is the name Nicole a reference to Ben’s plans for Nicole’s character? I can’t wait now.

I have to say, you guys are really good. Archie could stop printing their comics if you would print some.
I really love the idea of giving NICOLE the personality of Sally’s Mother instead of, what Ben Hurst wanted, a youth friend Robotnik captured.
This gives this comic now the very unique direction.

Congrats to Gojira, he has managed to stay somewhat true to Ben Hurst’s ideas while giving us a huge plot twist compared to our expectations.
Oh, btw, if I remember well, the term “Acorn” wasn’t used in the show, only in the comics, right?
If I’m right, then this brings that term into SatAM canon.
It’s almost hard to tell, and I could be wrong… but the queen’s fur and hair colors seem to be the same as Sally’s was earlier in the Archie comics (Black hair, and pink/peach fur)… Of course again, I could be wrong, it might just be tinted that way because of the green light.. but if that is true, very intresting choice of color.

We don’t even know if she IS Nicole.
I mean, the machine could have been named after her, but she herself didn’t have anything to do with it.
But I think that Gojira should somehow connect it with that “long-lost childhood friend” Ben Hurst talked about.
OK, I feel I need to say this upfront now before it gets out of hand.
Nicole’s backstory here is NOT based on Ben Hurst’s plans for Nicole.
I realize that’s going to be disappointing for some, and I sympathize. But I conceived this story for Nicole well before Hurst’s plans for the character were made public, and I ultimately chose to stick with it after the fact. I’m sorry for those who this might frustrate, but I ask only that you give my own take on Nicole’s story a chance, and know that I nonetheless deeply respect the legacy of Hurst’s ideas.
I’m fine with Gojira changing NICOLE’s origin; it would be boring if we already know what’s going to happen.

It’s fine. I think that the idea of a “long-lost friend” could also be used for some other concept.

Thanks for the heads up, Gojira. Your writing for the comic has been consistently excellent, so I certainly don’t mind a deviation from Hurst’s ideas. If anything, I’m even more excited for the upcoming story given that it’s been in the works for so long.
My only complaint is that this means she was married since day one of being a computer…..

Everything the show said about him was one big paradox.
He went into the void the same day Julian officially became Robotnik but somehow was able to contact the rebellion that came at least a week after. And he was able to leave a message to Sally under her pet name which we never hear him say in person in a place that he never could have been in until after he met with his future daughter.
I suspect that you guys have plans for clearing that up already since you’ve bought in the only Mobian who could possibly know what happened.
Knowing you you’ve probably already set up a explanation that requires a full read through to catch….

I love the work you guys do…. but nobody even thought to mention that her name should be Alicia, considering how closely tied SatAM is to the Archie comic continuity. Yes, I had to correct that, but if you guys wanna change that for this continuity, go right ahead I guess. Not like that Kind of thing hasn’t been done before. *coughcough*QueenAleena*coughcough*
