… Shhhh…. let’s pretend the page was loaded on Monday, that way I’ll feel like I can keep a schedule going without blowing up in my face…
Anyway, sorry about the delay, but some of it my fault, some of it the fact my computer is being as helpful as filling a blimp full of blow darts. But look on the positive side, you guys only have to wait SIX more days instead of seven! OHHHH YEAH!
Oh yeah, comic. Sally sad, Sonic not blowing stuff up, lotsa green, fun fun fun.
Steven-
Ok then. In my mind today will be monday.
And sally has a look of extreme determination
I hope the computer situation works out for you, Steven. Even if that wasn’t a factor, delays are especially understandable for pages like this with quite a few panels, which I imagine take much longer. As always, great work, especially on capturing Sally’s emotions. The art and writing compliment one another very well here, seamlessly and subtly transitioning from the fragile orphan to the determined leader.
Wow, I like how Sonic, in this page, isn’t the “mondo cool” counterpart for Sally.
I mean, she’s acting mature, but he’s not immature either. It seems Sonic knows when to behave well.
About the delay and such, I can’t say anything but remind that this is something we are enjoying for free, and that the little delay there has been between the supposed time of loading and the actual time of loading is just proof of how well they manage the situation.
1 day delay with non-working computers is absolutely not bad at all. This is still an amazing comic. ‘Love how Sally can suck up the past about her mother, compose herself, and still turn on her determination freedom fighter mode!
Can I just say, Saber REALLY nailed this page? Sonic on panel 4 and Sal on panel 5 in particular are just knock-outs. I can’t praise this page enough; thank you for the excellent work, Saber!
waiting a day was worth it
I don’t care about schedules, having never been able to keep one for myself so whatever and wow nice work on the art. It was more than worth the wait.
You’re really liking that glow effect, aren’t you, Saber?
This page is the best looking yet.
I’m really enjoying how well you nailed Sally’s character down. Smart, strong-willed, always putting the goal of ending Robotnik’s tyranny over anything else. Great job.
Though, I find it a little hard to believe that Max never told Sally her mother’s name…
