A day late? RIGHT ON TIME.
… Wait… 4 minutes to Tuesday… so it’s still Monday… I AM on time!
You know, the page is alright… but it will probably be one I’ll have some lousy memories of. It was supposed to up and ready to go hours ago, when one problem after another started popping up, from hands being to small, line art looking to shaky, it was at least caught earlier on so it wasn’t that hard to fix, but set me back a little…
… I sent the page to Chief view phone (because the net computer was in use at the time), when I noticed I forgot to add the green lighting on Sonic and Sally… so, after fixing that, I noticed ANOTHER THING, the queens ears were just a tad bit off (they were more pointed outward and a little bigger than need be… it looked wrong).
On top of that, I had (I think it as) a sinus headache starting up sooo this will go down as one of my least favorite pages just on how much fun it was to work on.
Now, I’m really sorry about the continued delays. Chief said not to worry about it and I’ve seen some of you say it doesn’t matter, but it still drives me crazy knowing I’m making you guys wait, which has led to a number of all nighters.
With school the comic, and all these other projects going on I find it amazing I’m able to update every week as it is.
If a page isn’t up on Monday, you can bet it will be up by Tuesday, I’ll try my best to shoot for Monday’s guys.
Maybe I’ll start posting extra stuff I’ve done over the years as a side thing, or upload test work and other sonic related stuff so you guys get something to look at while I’m busy fixing someones ears or something. Just thinking out loud, but it’s something I may start doing.

… I nearly had a panic attack. I saw a stray pixel on the Queen’s face, all I can think of is I need to take this page down, go back to my room, pull up the file, clean up the speck, re-upload it only to notice SOMETHING EL-
… it was a speck of dirt on the screen… I’M GOING TO BED.
Please don’t push yourself so hard on our account, Saber. If a page needs to be pushed back a day or two, it’s fine. If you’re worried about making us wait, I’d much prefer you just give us a heads-up in the comments section rather than driving yourself crazy over it. I doubt anyone here minds. After all, this is a comic in which a single chapter is the better part of a year’s worth of work, a style that does nothing if not cultivate a patient readership (well, that and result in amazing quality). Thanks again for all your hard work.
Did the computer situation work out?
Anyway, the throwback to Sally’s early design is a clever touch. I know it was evident before, but I wanted to wait until it was 110% clear that Queen Nicole was…well, pink… before commenting on it. Nice work on blending her body with the holographic glow, especially in that last close-up. As for the last panel, both the gunship (or whatever they’re called; anyone know?) and city look great. The texture effect is a nice addition as well.
In terms of narrative, it looks like we’re finally going to receive details on the SatAM version of the Great War! World-building on this scale is always exciting.
Steven, if its just a spec, we dont care. The point is, it was on time(if still monday in my time zone), and it looks great.
Dont push yourself too much.

Oh and now we are going to find out some information on SatAM’s Great War I can’t wait, but I can wait it will be so exiting. Don’t push yourself too hard Steven, we can wait if all else fails.

And I have to agree; don’t push yourself too hard. Your dedication is really appreciated and since this comic can be read for free, you really shouldn’t be concerned too much about being late just a day. I rather see some good art instead of pushed stuff.
Right, page is moving along fine… and it’s late again, but I don’t feel bad, why? Because I didn’t stay up until the ungodly hours of the night rushing anything… Anywho, until I get the page up, I thought I would upload some stuff to give you guys something.
